Ottawa Park is located in Toledo, OH and is the first all-inclusive playground for all users with all abilities in the city. Specific trademarks and heritage were thoughtfully brought into the design of this park. A creatively designed replicate of the famous known bridge "The Anthony Wayne Bridge" or otherwise known as the High Level Bridge is shown at the entrance. While imaginative play is most popular with young children, they can have fun with the free standing "Toledo JEEP."
This is a PlayCore National Demonstration Site, meeting the needs of the whole child for inclusive play and six elements of play. There are several accessible ramps providing access to different types of ADA play activities, a sensory wave climber with various sensory activities, along with numerous climbers and slides. This also features an inclusive whirl that spins 360, and a double Zip track. Lastly, it has poured in place rubber safety surfacing for accessibility. Check it out!
