CLIENT: City of Springdale Ohio Parks and Recreation Department
LOCATION: With a population of 11,000, Springdale is a northern suburb of Cincinnati
PRODUCTS: Playground structures, benches, trash receptacles and picnic shelters
Thanks to a very generous resident and donor, Marjorie Underwood Randolph, the Parks and Recreation Department at the City of Springdale Ohio had the amazing opportunity to revitalize two parks: Underwood Park and Cameron Park. Marjorie's donation is a heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Edna G. Underwood, who was a dedicated Springdale School Teacher and Council Member. She instilled in Marjorie the value of community initiatives and services. These park revitalization projects are a reflection of her mother's enduring commitment to our community.
The City repaved the parking lots at each park, and added new playground structures, benches, trash receptacles and family picnic shelters. In addition, new walkways were added to make these park features more accessible for Springdale residents. Watch the video below or visit this Facebook post to see how excited members of the community were for these park improvements.
